The Grow Music programme positions major cities like London and others as a hub for music, technology, innovation and growth, bringing together unrivalled access to the music industry and best-in-class innovation leaders to discover and grow new products, increase economic value and create new jobs.

Grow Music is back for 2025! We're looking for ambitious, early-stage music tech founders and innovators to join our next cohort.

What is Grow Music?

Grow Music is a business support program designed to support innovative music startups based or trading in Greater London, South East or East of England.

Launched by the BPI and London & Partners in partnership with Abbey Road REDD, ADK, Measure of Music, Andy Ayim and UK Black Tech, Grow Music is designed to support founders in driving meaningful innovation and unlocking new value for the industry whilst growing their early-stage business.

We offer tailored mentoring, industry support, expert led workshops, and a dynamic community of like-minded peers to help you refine your offering.

Grow Music 2024 saw a cohort of 26 companies collectively raise over £30m of new investment, createover 20 new jobs, 21 new improved products and services for the music industry,and report increased revenues. 

Whether you're innovating how music is created, distributed, experienced or monetised, we want to hear from you.

Who should apply?

We are looking for UK-based startups who:

* Have a minimum team of two
‍
* Have raised a minimum of £50,000 or have secured £50,000 of revenue by the application deadline
‍
* Are building innovative products or services that are powered by, or can add value to the music industry

* Are passionate about shaping the future of music

All companies must be registered in Greater London, East of England or South East England OR have a trading address in London.

Grow Music is led by the Innovation Team at BPI, the trade association for the UK’s recorded music industry, and the representative voice of British recorded music. BPI is proud to have collaborated with world-leading experts and partners in the innovation space to develop the UK’s first focused music and technology growth programme.
